- Woman Walking Away belongs to his most significant body of work the 'Widow of Shepherd' series, completed in 1981 as his degree work at the Moscow State Art Institute named after V.I. Surikov. Six works from this series were immediately acquired by the State Tretyakov Gallery upon completion. The remaining three entered the Faber-Castell Collection in Germany.
