The Practice Shot
Lawrence Josset (English, 1910–1995)
- DESCRIPTION
- The Practice Shot captures a moment of aristocratic leisure with quiet precision. A gentleman takes his swing while companions look on: a caddie in yellow livery, a hound at rest, the grounds of a grand estate stretching into the background. The atmosphere is unhurried and entirely convincing.
