The Jewish Wedding
Jovan Obican (French-Yugoslav, 1918-1986)
- DESCRIPTION
- The Jewish Wedding captures all of that fascination in a single image. Under the chuppah the traditional wedding canopy a rabbi reads from sacred text as the bridal couple stands in quiet ceremony. To the right, three klezmer musicians play with the same unselfconscious absorption.
